Decking the halls

We got most of the christmas decorations up yesterday, and stood the tree, but saved the trimming of said tree until this afternoon.
The good thing about being young is having short memories, so every ornament was a wonderful new surprise.

Except for some difficulties in trying to hang every single ornament on the exact same branch, they did a lovely job!

Kennedy was the cheering section.

Harvey hung the Elvis ornament and took the opportunity to explain to the girls all about the king of rock and roll.

Kennedy was still cheering, especially after getting in to the right frame of mind.

OK... some silliness ensued as well.

But at the end of the afternoon, we had a beautiful tree.
In fact, I think it's the prettiest tree we've ever had!

It's definitely the prettiest tree anyone has ever had.
