TAILGATE!

It's become a bit of a tradition that we go every fall to the tailgate that Pearson Education hosts. Last year and this year, Resli and Lela have come, and we've all had a blast.
The girls got their nails painted orange and blue for the occasion.

And of course wore their best Gator gear.

The highlight of Resli's day was when the Gainesville High School cheerleaders strolled by, and she asked if she could cheer with them. They were so sweet and understanding, and let her watch and learn.

Then they even agreed to let her lead them, and humored her for a whole cheer.

Between that and the Gators winning, it was a pretty great day!

Girl Scout Investiture

Resli celebrated her initiation into the Brownies at the Investiture Ceremony the other night.
(And yes, I had to iron on all the patches before that could happen!)

She got her pin,

and said her pledge, and
now she's a Brownie!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween last week. After much discussion, the girls ended up with three different and unrelated - but equally fabulous - costumes.
Kennedy was a baby Alberta. She had her chomp perfected and won over many a heart.

Lela was a feisty little jaguar.

And Resli was Wonder Woman.

They made a great trio,

and were a wonderful addition to the group that set out in pursuit of tricks and treats.

We didn't last too long because Kennedy was tired, but Resli and Lela sure enjoyed themselves while it lasted.
